FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
AAAHHH!!! What should I wear?
The dreaded question…. what to wear? This is an important consideration. First, you must stay true to who you are. Be comfortable. Then…kick it up just a tiny notch! The days of “matchy matchy” are long gone. I encourage my clients to pick a color palette and then coordinate from there. Think textures, layers, hats and jewelry! I always advise my clients to search Pinterest for ideas of clothing options. You can get a feel for what colors work well together by clicking here!
Can you make the weather cooperate?
Unfortunately, I can’t control Mother Nature. However, if weather conditions are not favorable due to rain or high wind we will reschedule your session.
How long will the session take?
You can expect to be on location with me for 1-2 hours unless you have a newborn session booked. They can be anywhere from 2-4+ hours (depending on how cooperative your newborn is)!
What if I need to reschedule?
No problem! I am a mother myself! I know that life can get crazy and that sickness might creep up on you. Please try to contact me at least 24 hours in advance in the event that you need to reschedule. We will find a time for you!
Do I need to sign a contract?
Yes, I do request that all clients sign a contract with Jennifer Bennett Photography.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
At this time, a deposit is not required to secure most sessions. Certain themed mini sessions DO require a deposit since spots are limited but you will be aware of that at the time of booking!
How long will it take before I can see my images?
I know that you are anxious to see your images. Galleries will be ready for viewing within 1-2 weeks. You will get a little sneak peak (1-2 images) of your session within 5 days on my Facebook page.
You took so many pictures! Do I get to see them all?
Each image that I select for your viewing gallery is among the best in the bunch. While I do take many shots at each session, not every shot is pure gold. Many shots may have an eye closed, a funny face or the pose itself may not be flattering. Many shots are taken in sequence so it’s possible that 5 or 6 shots look exactly the same. In those cases, I choose the best of that bunch. These images represent you and they represent me. Only the best will do! Most galleries will have between 25-45 edited photos for you to choose from.
What types of payments do you accept?
Currently I accept cash, checks and credit cards. All credit card payment will have a fee of 2.75% added to the total to cover the costs to use the service.
